1 cup bean
1 large onion
1/2 cup oil
The cornille (Vigna unguiculata subsp. Unguiculata), also known as cowpea, cowpea or cowpea plant is a common subspecies in Africa. It is a medium-sized bean-shaped kidney. It has a slightly sweet flavor. Cooking time 10 minutes and costs rehydrated overnight soaking, dry 40 minutes.

Put the beans on the fire with water and salt (do not add too much water) until cooked
In another pan heat the oil and add the onions
Dip doevi in acidified water with lemon for 30 minutes
Stir until the onion does soften, add doevi and ½ cup water
After 7 min add beans with minimum water possible. Simmer for 5 minutes
Serve with bread or gari
